Description
Typing on a keyboard, “thumbing” on a phone, hitting that remote control – all require use of tiny muscles that would prefer to be connected to the arm and shoulder. But in order to type fast, we unconsciously inhibit the connection to bigger muscles. Who knew your wrists began in your back? This lesson is a power exploration of that relationship. If you have arm, shoulder, wrist issues, just remember, less is more, listen to your comfort level, don’t push, and you’ll discover new possibilities for relaxing not just your wrists but your back.

I’m at a beginner level, and this lesson was challenging. But I loved how Lavinia encouraged modifying it and playing with it. I found pleasureful movement that freed up my neck a lot, even if I didn’t do the lesson “properly.” I think that is one of Lavinia’s strengths, encouraging play. I love her voice very much. It’s soothing and therapeutic. It conveys a real sense of body and mind intelligence ready to help me heal.

Thanks, Michael, it’s great that you allowed yourself to be challenged and continued to be playful!
