Don’t Postpone Joy!
There was a funky, funny toy store in Manhattan in the ‘80’s called The Last Wound Up, where you could find any kind of wind up toy you can imagine. The banner in the window proclaimed: Don’t Postpone Joy! Since then many books, stores and people have co-opted the phrase. Some even claim to have originated it. But I know because I’m old enough to have gone into that store almost 50 years ago. Joy is in your body, this workshop will look at both the emotional pattern of joy, and how you can embody it as well as exploring joyful movement for the whole self.
