Maybe you remember people in the ’50’s and ’60’s grabbing their back and moaning about their lumbago, which is just a fancy word for lower back pain. We don’t think of our back… till it hurts. It’s…back there.
Your lumbar spine gets squished from sitting too long, crunched from turning too far, and stressed from all that heavy lifting. But as with every other part of you, it’s connected: to the rest of the spine, to your pelvis and hips, even to the movement of your neck.
