Kinēsa Training

The training is in two parts:

1. an experiential immersion into the Seven Bodies and Seven Principles of Kinēsa.

2. a professional development process that prepares practitioners to apply their knowledge in a professional capacity.

Immersion

A prerequisite for joining the Kinēsa process is the Introduction to the Kinēsa Process, a seven module course. The Immersion process is taught in modules based on the Seven Bodies. Each module is approximately 20 hours of classroom time. These are taught both online and in person at various international locations, which can be joined in any order. In between units, students will have the opportunity to find practice partners, small groups and individual mentoring.

Certification

In order to qualify for the Certification phase, students will need to have completed all seven previous modules. The Certification phase takes place in 4 segments of approximately 30 hours each in hybrid learning that includes in person and virtual sessions. As part of the 120 hours, students are required to participate in group “collabs” that support practice and development and are facilitated by certified Kinēsa practitioners.

Why become a Kinēsa practitioner?

Besides the personal benefits of living more fully in embodied presence, practicing the Kinēsa process on its own or in synthesis with other disciplines is a rewarding and powerful somatic coaching and educational profession. As society becomes more aware of the value and necessity of understanding movement as the basis of all behavior, you will be on the forefront of a new paradigm in teaching and learning. The Kinēsa process offers concrete tools for helping anyone improve quality of life through mastering Kinēsa’s seven principles – essential keys for all truly human experience.
