Somatic Movement Strategies
for Relieving Challenging Holding Patterns
August 16 &17 from 10 AM – 5 PM EDT
12 CEs
I’m delighted to share this upcoming in-person workshop in collaboration with the WNC School of Massage and Natural Healing in Asheville, NC.
TMJ dysfunction, chronic shoulder and neck pain, unconscious gripping in the feet and ankles that cause problems with knees and hips, are some of the challenging holding patterns that recur in clients and can be a source of frustration and even cause related struggles.
This workshop will explore how Awareness Through Movement® lessons can offer pain relief options for both clients and practitioners. We will look at how the movement sequences can inform hands on practice with a focus on chronic tension areas: jaw, shoulder/neck, low back, ankles and feet. You will have the opportunity to experience the benefits by participating in the lessons, which will then lead into exploring applications of the movement lessons through touch.
Welcome to possibility!
