Finding Your Center: A Feldenkrais/Creative Body Workshop

Taught by Lavinia Plonka
Saturday,  June 23,  9:30 AM – 1 PM

"That knocked me off my center."

"Center yourself!"

"I feel so scattered."

"I have to pull myself together."

Is it possible that the above metaphors might also have a physiological correspondence? What would it feel like to have a strong, powerful center from which to operate? There is so much emphasis on “core strength” these days. But what good is it to be strong but inflexible? What good are abs of steel if you don’t have the resilience to recover from shock?

Join me for a morning of discovering strength and freedom, the never ending potential of the human dance between stability and mobility; what Feldenkrais coined as dynamic stability.

Saturday,  June 23,  9:30 AM – 1 PM - $45
