Turn, Turn, Turn
A 360° Perspective

Saturday, September 13
9:30 AM – 1 PM
$45

Turning around as you back out of the your driveway. Whirling around to see who’s calling your name.  Twisting to reach that cobweb above the couch.  These are just some of the obvious benefits of the ability to turn.  Feldenkrais defines good “acture” as the ability to move in any direction. Being able to turn freely means better balance, improved peripheral vision, and less stiffness in the spine.  This workshop will help you discover the options all around yourself!

Ripples and Waves
A Feldenkrais® Workshop

Saturday, October 25, 9:30 AM – 1 PM
$45

The billow of grain in a field blown by summer wind.  The hypnotic advance and retreat of waves along the shore.  The emanation of ripples on a pond, just after you throw a stone. Everything moves in waves, including sound, light, your thoughts.

As the October leaves come rippling down, spend a delicious morning exploring the movement potential of your skeleton; engaging what is called the somato-respiratory wave. Rippling, undulating exercises free the spine, relax the nervous system and help you tune into your healing pulse. Reduce stiffness and back pain, move more freely and enjoy greater flexibility in body and mind.
